The winning AGeS-Grad proposals were just announced and we're excited to report that UTALL is the partner lab for three new projects led by grad students:
Ayodele Anne Abayomi (UT Dallas)
Refining the chronostratigraphy of late-Quaternary Texas coastal sediments to examine climate controls on sediment flux
Cassandra Kenyon (U Oklahoma)
OSL provenance in Colombia’s Magdalena Valley: shedding light onto Eastern Cordilleran uplift and development of the Magdalena River
Bailey Nordin (Dartmouth)
Targeting changes in sedimentation across a warming Arctic periglacial fan using Optically Stimulated Luminescence (OSL) dating
Congrats to the winners! We're looking forward to tackling these projects with the world's best geochronometer
