Nathan uses and develops luminescence dating techniques to quantify recent changes at Earth's surface. Right now he's most excited about luminescence thermochronology and rock surface exposure dating.

Rahul links climate, tectonics, and surface processes using quantitative geomorphology, geochronology (OSL, TCN), remote sensing, GIS, hydrology and structural geology.

Ayush combines thermoluminescence thermochronology and sediment burial dating to investigate recent activity along various strands of the southern San Andreas fault system.

Karissa dates hydrothermal explosions in Yellowstone National Park and maar eruptions in northern California. She is also interested in how elevated pressure affects luminescence ages.

Diana combines cosmogenic radionuclide and luminescence rock surface dating techniques to quantify the evolution of ventifacts in the deserts of southern California.

Cindy Lou is exploring the use of luminescence rock surface exposure ages, burial ages and portable OSL results to constrain the evolution of alpine glacial moraines.
